Siegfried M. Berno, born in 1992, is a German artist currently residing in Heidelberg and Berlin. His artistic exploration revolves around the intricacies of the mind, the construction of realities, and their interplay with perception and encounters. Employing layering techniques, structures, and materials, he allows his artworks to evolve intuitively, free from predetermined order. These layers take on diverse forms, ranging from bold and explosive gestures to delicate lines reminiscent of the flow of water. By observing the behaviors of different mediums and materials under various conditions like time, heat, or gravity, and by influencing and controlling them, he shapes forms that distort perception. The layers may initially seem chaotic and random, yet they ultimately find a harmonious place, as if their existence is indispensable to the overall composition.
