Claudia Chaseling

Claudia Chaseling challenges perception through dynamic abstract compositions that blend organic and architectural forms. While her works initially appear non-figurative, closer inspection reveals shifting structures that evoke a sense of mutation and transformation. Influenced by science fiction, her paintings use color and texture to explore real-world issues, including environmental and human-made disasters. Incorporating QR codes and web links, she connects her visual language to deeper research, while blank canvas “splashes” highlight blind spots in our knowledge. Drawing from graphic novel techniques, Chaseling constructs layered narratives that question our grasp on reality and contemporary crises.
